Thinking about outfitting your team or creating promotional apparel for your business but not sure where to start? Here is a simple guide to walk you through the process from start to finish.
Before contacting a supplier, ask yourself these questions:
How many garments do you need?
Who are they for (employees, clients, an event)?
What is your approximate budget?
Do you have a specific deadline?
The more information you have upfront, the faster your advisor can suggest the right options for you.
The choice of garment depends on the intended use. For everyday office wear, corporate polos and t-shirts are popular. For outdoor use or events, jackets and hoodies are ideal. For corporate gifts, consider premium items like softshell jackets or embroidered coats.
For the best results, provide your logo in vector format (AI, EPS or PDF file). This type of file allows your logo to be resized without any loss of quality. If you do not have a vector file, the Boite Smart team can help you prepare your artwork.
Two main techniques are available : embroidery for a premium finish on polos and jackets, and DTF printing for complex or colourful designs. Your advisor will guide you toward the best option based on your logo and the type of garment selected.
Before production begins, you will receive a digital mockup for approval. This is the most important step — take the time to verify the colours, position and size of your logo. Once approved, production starts.
At Boite Smart, production is done locally at our Mascouche workshop. Generally allow 2 to 3 weeks after mockup approval. We deliver anywhere in Quebec or you can pick up your order on site.
